Joomlart and Opensourcetemplate.org are stealers

It’s frustrating when you encounter a situation when someone steals your work. But there are things that you can tolerate and things that you can’t. It’s one thing when irresponsible individuals steal some of your work and present it as their own hoping they’ll get away with it. But when this kind of actions is pulled off by “web agency” or “web company” it takes stealing to a different level. What I am asking myself here today is when it will stop.

Anyway, here are two companies, at public display and for your judgment that stole my work:

I completely agree with you Alen, I just can't understand some people. As you pointed out to me yesterday, this guy borrowed some of my design, and in the process of it, he called me a copy cat, as I was the one who copied his design! Unbelievable! And this guy wants to make a living as a web designer, and he has his own website award showcase – which is nice, but man… Some people really don't know when to stop.

Well, you know this better than I do, your work has been stolen many times know…

I used your CSS ZG design as I thought it was left at CC. I hope you don't mind. I ofcourse gave you creadit and link to your site. I will take it down if you want. I figured you should know.

@Panto:
I totally appreciate your honesty.
If you read the "Requirements" section on CSS ZG you will see that only css is released under CC license. Graphics are still fully copyrighted by authors.
Since a lot of people asked me to give them a permission to use my CSS ZG theme and I turned them down, I think it wouldn't be fair to them to let you keep it. So, please, if it's no trouble, take that theme down. If you wish I will create a custom theme (similar to this if you want) for a very reasonable price.
Thank you for understanding and once again thank you for stepping out with this.

What? Did you know one of the authors of OpenSourceTemplate accused me to steal HIS (?) opensourcetemplate Nautica, just because I ported it to Wordpress( leaving every credit on it to him, as I thought he was the author)??? And now I discover it wasn't even his work! How sad. He even said he would call his lawers against me... just because I ported an OS theme to an OS bloggin sistem without knowing anything..... there is an entire forum entry at OWD.org against me. -___- , and now If I think it was not HIM the author. sad. sad.

I think I have some kind of record - a company ripped my design, and then within the design itself, ripped another two sites I designed! http://www.flickr.com/photos/irishstu/192957087/ I think the key is to blog it, screenshot it, and name and shame stright away.

I totally agree. Copy cats should be dressed up like school boys and thrown in a jail cell with a catholic priest.
